Whidbey General Hospital (WGH), in Coupeville, WA, is a not-for-profit hospital that has been owned and operated by the residents of Whidbey Island since it's opening in 1970. Committed to serving residents of the surrounding area, WGH has been recognized several times by the Rural Healthcare Quality Network, a group that comprises 34 rural hospitals across the state of Washington. The Rural Healthcare Quality Network has recognized WGH 12 times since 2010 for excellence in the areas of emergency stroke care, providing care to heart failure patients, and patient safety quality improvement.

Sound values our advanced practice providers and realizes they need a forum to collaborate. Our APP collaborative was formed to provide development opportunities and to advance the role of our clinicians who work alongside our physicians. We offer the same leadership development opportunities for APPs that are provided to our physicians. We are focused on helping you build your emergency medicine career.
Current, unrestricted license in WA required and one year of emergency medicine experience required
