The Hospitalist team at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center is seeking a Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about inpatient medicine and excited about clinical quality to work on the Critical Response Team. This role will function as a critical member of the health care team working collaboratively with a group of Hospitalists (both physicians and advanced practice providers). The care team delivers care to inpatients at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center.
This position meets our patient needs through working block schedule of 7 on 7 off, eight hour night shifts.
We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers to work on our East bank hospitalist service performing patient admissions, rapid response, and sepsis alerts. There is a separate code blue team.
Must be interested in working in a large academic environment with high acuity and complex patients.
We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Graduate of a school or nursing and accredited Adult/Gero, Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner training program
BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
