Current licensure as an adult nurse practitioner by the Board of Medical Examiners of Maryland/Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses.

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to eighty percent of work time in performing duties and dealing with patients and families, often during stressful situations. Working Conditions
Normal office work environment and patient care environment, including patient homes and health care facilities.#
Exposure to adverse working conditions due to performance of certain patient care activities.
Exposure to communicable disease.
Position requires use of personal automobile and local travel in the GHC and Gilchrist Greater Living service areas. Conditions of Employment Must maintain productivity and quality standards as set by Gilchrist Greater Living.
Supervises the nurse practitioners in Gilchrist Services (GS). Works closely with the Medical Director in the development of new services/programs. Develops and coordinate educational activities. Serves as primary care provider for selected patients on behalf of GHC and Gilchrist Greater Living who are in need of office, hospital, facility or home-based medical care.
Education
Successful completion of certified nurse practitioner program.
