Applies effective interpersonal skills, demonstrates professional skills in the knowledge of their specialty, Is able to work effectively to provide cost efficient and timely quality medical care to patients Collaborates with the lead physician and administrative staff to develop and implement medical protocols and quality initiatives within the practice Uses effective communication skills with patients and staff. Follows proper organizational communication lines to address matters pertaining to job functions including proper reporting relationships Work Contact Group (Internal/External) None Reporting Relationships Reports to (position): Medical Director of Hospitalists Supervises (position(s): None Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Master#s Degree in Nurse Practitioner Program, National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Preferred: None Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: Residency and or fellowship training completion required by specialty Preferred: None License, Registry or Certification: Required: Credentialing # malpractice insurance through Medical staff office required. Holds a current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license, along with national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Preferred: None Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Strong Medical Knowledge Base in hospital medicine, Interpersonal skills and management ability to provide patient care. Preferred: Previous inpatient hospitalist experience
