Nurse Practitioner (APRN) – Urgent Care

South Windsor, Connecticut

We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our team in an urgent care setting. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries, performing minor procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Schedule Options:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• (3) 12-hour shifts
• (4) 10-hour shifts

Compensation:

• $120,000 – $140,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Diagnose acute conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and splinting.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, EKGs, and lab work, with appropriate follow-up.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Connecticut APRN license.
• Board Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Active DEA registration.
• Urgent care experience preferred.
