Education Requirements Masters of Science in Nursing required. Completion of Nurse Practitioner curriculum and NP Certification required.
Active license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of WV. Certification in field of Specialty preferred Prescriptive Privileges: Comply with WV Code related to attaining and maintaining limited prescriptive privileges.

A minimum of five years of clinical experience in Orthopedic, Surgery, or related field. Demonstrates high degree of independent action.
Job requires strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and critical reasoning skills in clinical decision-making, planning and organizing, initiative and ingenuity, creativity, independent decision-making, problem solving, and ability to interpret data. Positive relationship skills in working with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Public relations and promotion of positive morale are important. Some computer skills are necessary.
