Description

The Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner (APN/NP) works within the guidelines of a collaborative practice agreement with an active member of the medical staff of Central DuPage Hospital. In partnership with physicians and other health care team members, the APN/NP assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates care for a specific patient population based on individual scope of practice. Through the application of evidenced-based decision making, the APN/NP serves as a leader, educator, researcher and clinical mentor to all members of the health care team with the goal of achieving optimal patient outcomes. The APN/NP practices utilizing the scope and standards of practice for the advanced practice nurse as published by the American Nurses' Association. #AdvancedPracticeRegisteredNurse

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in area of specialty

  • Current Collaborative Practice Agreement with an active member of the medical staff at Central DuPage Hospital

  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Required Education: Master's degree in Nursing Licensure/Certifications: - RN License

  • APN License

  • APN certification

  • BLS certification #AdvancedPracticeRegisteredNurse

Ready to join our quest for better? Description The Regional Nursing Supervisor works in coordination with the Practice Administrator overseeing the clinical operations of 3 to 4 Ambulatory clinics. He/she has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for the supervision of the clinical support staff within sites of responsibility. He/she supervises all other ancillary services in the absence of the Practice Administrator and assists in planning and implementation of goals which are congruent with the Regional Medical Group. The Regional Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the monitoring and reporting of all processes, nursing and physician quality improvement. In addition, the Regional Nursing Supervisor provides direct and indirect patient care in the Physician Group setting when necessary. Provides leadership that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with the expectation of minimal of supervision. AA/EOE Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - BLS Certification - RN License - Graduate of accredited 2 or 3 year registered nursing program. - 5 years of nursing experience - Preferred two year's experience in outpatient clinic supervision/management - Preferred BSN; BSN within two years of hire - Preferred Certifications in Ambulatory Nursing Northwestern Medicine Wheaton IL
