Our downtown location is in need of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
The ACNP provides support to our physicians and optimizes surgical patient flow both in the office and in the hospitals.
Perform pre- and post-operative visits and assist in the operating room/angio suite
Evaluate in-office patients for both vascular disease and wound care problems.
Establish medical diagnosis, determine a plan of care, and order and interpret routine diagnostic studies.
Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care.
Be familiar with non-invasive testing techniques: carotid duplex, vein mapping, and arterial Doppler studies.
Perform therapeutic/corrective measures, order prescriptions, provide patient counseling, and document visits in EMR, including ICD codes for billing.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a recognized field of science or learning which is directly related to the duties of the position and be licensed with the State of Texas as an Advance Practice Nurse with certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
