GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job provides primary, or acute and/or behavioral healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. This position involves a rotation of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program
National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Current State Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License
Current State RN License
Prescriptive Authority from the practicing state within 60 days of hire
Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure within 60 days of hire
CPR - American Heart Association
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Preferred
Post Master's program, DNP
ACLS certification
For Behavioral Health areas: Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), obtained within 2 years of hire.
