Nurse Practitioner

Description:

Our Advanced Practice Provider possesses advanced health assessment and decision-making skills which complement our physicians and offers our practice the ability to deliver a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services to our patients. The Advanced Practice Provider can expect to work both autonomously and under direct physician supervision depending on the nature and condition of a patients visit.

• Work in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals to provide health care across the continuum of care for assigned patients.

• Provision of care to include, but not limited to, obtaining patient history, comprehensive assessment, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing pharmacological agents and treatments and non-pharmacological therapies.

• Facilitate open channels of communication with Clinical Staff members and Physicians by acting as a liaison among staff.

• Monitor the effectiveness of plan of care.

• Performs procedures as trained and appropriately credentialed.

• Make appropriate referrals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin NP licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• ENT Experience
