In addition to the mandatory license and education described above under Basic Requirements: Applicants must have at least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or above) and possession of a diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree or master's degree in Nursing from a professional nursing program. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of Professional Nursing Experience to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:

Experience designing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating a Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence (DV/IVP) program to ensure the program meets client DV/IVP needs and all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Experience in providing training on DV/IVP equipment and issues to health care members. Serves as Subject Matter Expert to properly collect and safeguard forensic evidence.

Experience identifying and evaluating important/potential problems or related concerns relating to patient care; investigating, planning and implementing corrective action; assisting department heads to investigate problems, determining action and prepare problem analysis reports. Provides comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients. Closely observes patients for conditions requiring emergency measures; recognizes, identifies, and interprets serious clinical situations; Provides appropriate immediate/emergency measures.

Provides advanced cardiac, trauma, and pediatric life support. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
