Nurse Manager(Nm) Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (Msicu) - Days Full Time

CaroMont Health is hiring a Full-time#Nurse Manager to work Day#shifts within our Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU)#team at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC! Sign-on Bonus up to $10,000 based on experience!

Nurse Manager Roles and Responsibilities: Plan, manage, coordinate and evaluate operations of the department.

Maintains

24hr accountability for staff and department performance.# Participates in organization-wide coordination of patient care and integration of departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission, goals and CARES values. Required Skills

Qualifications:

Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).# Bachelor#s degree in Nursing required; Master#s preferred. # Professional nursing certification as defined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) within 18 months of hire. At least 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.# Thorough knowledge of general nursing principles, methods, and techniques.

Demonstrated skills in performing nursing procedures; ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians, department heads, and families/visitors. Significant ability to coach, mentor, and manage staff.
