Nurse Manager-Peri-Operative Services

NURSE MANAGER-PERI-OPERATIVE SERVICES-FULL TIME

To manage the delivery of safe and effective nursing care. Administer direct nursing care to patients.

Manages the department in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Hospital regulations of applicable regulatory agencies. Capable of explaining procedures. Communicates and collaborates with surgeons to facilitate OR programming.

Research, develop and/or implement appropriate scheduling/booking procedures for the operating suites. Cultivates, maintains and enhances inter-departmental relationships. Utilize tactful, direct and sensitive interaction skills in promoting positive customer relations and inter-personal relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

BSN or Nursing Degree and BS in Healthcare Administration/Management. Current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse; current CPR Certification. Four to five years Clinical Nursing Specialty; one year of which is in a management or supervisory position.
