Their 10-bed Pediatric Emergency Department, which includes a dedicated trauma room, sees a daily census of 40-50 patients.

Job Description : The Pediatric Emergency Department Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of the department.

This includes ensuring adherence to standards of care, managing resources, and promoting a positive patient experience. The Manager will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, implement evidence-based practices, and maintain a culture of accountability and transparency. Required Skills : Minimum of 3-5 years of pediatric ED experience in a healthcare setting.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in an acute care setting. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Current Registered Nurse or active Compact license in the state of Texas.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required within 90 days of hire). Preferred Skills : Master's degree in Nursing.

Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN). Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration. Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies.
