Directs the nursing care provided to patients on a nursing unit. Maintains standards of service excellence and nursing practice.
Develops evidence-based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure quality patient care. Responsible for staffing, budget, expense control, continuing staff development and education, performance improvement, and human resource management. Supervises, evaluates, guides, and counsels nursing staff in their work performance. National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related speciality preferred.
Education
Bachelor's Degree: in relevant field (Required)
Bachelor's Degree: in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. (Required)
Experience
3 years progressively responsible direct patient care, preferably in an ambulatory care setting (Required)
3 years of increasingly responsible nurse management, experience preferably in the outpatient setting (Required)
General knowledge and experience of progressively challenging managerial experience in an organization of comparable scope and complexity (Required)
OBGYN ambulatory experience (preferred)
License/Certifications
RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
