Position Title: Nurse Manager - Clinical Services & Systems Salary: $29.50/hour

POSITION SUMMARY
With minimal direction and supervision, manages and directs the delivery of assigned Clinical Services & Systems (CSS) including supervision of assigned staff. CSS programs and services with emphasis on client contacts in the home or other community locations. Manages using the nursing model of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
This position provides direct supervision to the assigned staff assigned to the services and programs under the management of this position.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
The position is self-directed with minimal guidance and supervision from the Director of Clinical Services & Systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manages the delivery of integrated client specific programs and services.
Provides ongoing supervision, training, guidance and performance evaluations to assigned staff.
Serves as a liaison to state, regional and community agencies, groups and individuals.
Participates in the development of new initiatives, grants and proposals.
Evaluates the effectiveness of assigned services and programs.
Monitors grant and/or subcontractor activities.
Oversees St. Clair County employee health activities including but not limited to employee/dependent immunizations, Tuberculosis screenings/follow-up and respiratory fit testing.
Applies public health nursing principles and theories, and draws from other sciences to form a theoretical framework for decision-making in public health services and programs.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of all current clinical nursing procedures.

Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate of graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, APRN, Registered Nurse RN, Licensed Practical Nurse LPN).
In addition, all persons in a nursing position must be current on CPR and First Aid certification/training.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE ABILITIES
The ability to sit, flex, stand, reach, and bend.
The physical strength to lift, carry, and transport materials/equipment equivalent to thirty (30) pounds.
Visual acuity, auditory ability, and clear written and verbal communication ability.
Manual dexterity and the ability for data input into various computer programs.
The ability to maintain professional behavior at all times.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must reside within St. Clair County, IL or be willing to relocate to St. Clair County within six (6) months from hire date.
The ability to work necessary hours to meet the position requirements including evenings and/or weekends as assigned.
May require provision of services at off-site locations.
A valid Illinois Driver's License.
A dependable automobile for use in position.
Auto insurance in effect with at least the minimum limits of liability as outlined and required by the state of Illinois.
Adherence to all local, state and federal regulations pertaining to OSHA guidelines.
Health Department employees:
Are required to have a TB test upon hire and separation of employment.
Must be current on CDC Healthcare Personnel Vaccine Recommendations, which include Hepatitis B, MMR (Measles, Mumps Rubella), Td/Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis), Varicella (chickenpox) and Meningococcal if over 65. Influenza and COVID vaccines are recommended and encouraged, but not required at this time and maybe subject to change.
All employees must adhere to the St. Clair County Personnel Code.
