Nurse Manager

Position Summary The Nurse Manager is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. Job Responsibilities Provides clinical and operational oversight#of patient care unit. Makes patient rounds daily assuring patient care needs are met. Interacts with medical staff on a regular basis. Functions as a clinical resource to staff and physicians, with continuous collaboration with staff.#### Assists in the provision of patient care as necessary. Responds to issues related to problem resolution and conflict management when presented with issues/concerns for the unit. Conducts a thorough investigation and follow-up for any patient care concerns raised. Education/Experience BSN from an accredited school of nursing. Must have three (3) years of nursing experience with two (2) years in area of specialty. Currently licensed as a RN by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau. Obtains and maintains current certification in BLS, and other required certificates in specialty areas.
