Minimum Education: Eligibility, as defined by the California Board of Nursing, to sit for the Registered Nurse licensing examination.

Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN). Minimum Experience/

Knowledge:
A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting immediately prior to application required. Strong critical and strategic thinking, analytical and planning skills.

Organization/time management skills. Excellent communication skills. Required License/Certification:

Valid California Registered Nursing license required. Specialty certification preferred. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider card from the American Heart Association required.

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support card from the American Heart Association required.

Current ONS required. Fire and Safety Certification required. (If no card upon hire one must be obtained within 90 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date).

The Clinical Nurse Lead is a Registered Nurse who works under the direction of the manager to facilitate safe and efficient operational flow of the nursing unit. The Clinical Nurse Lead is the first line clinical support for staff, physicians and other providers.

Through interprofessional collaboration, the Clinical Nurse Lead will ensure that patient and staff needs are met while coordinating the patient flow into and out of the unit. The Clinical Nurse Lead will also contribute to patient care by taking a patient assignment. This clinician will function as part of interprofessional teams by communicating, planning, and implementing care directly with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, social workers, clinical nurse specialists and nurse practitioners.

The Technician coordinates the activities engaged in decontaminating, cleaning, processing and assembling, storing and distributing sterile trays and supplies utilized for the care, treatment of Operating Room patients. This position is Wednesday - Sunday from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am Minimum Education: High School Diploma. Must be a graduate of a state approved, accredited school of Surgical Technology or Central Service, or certified as a surgical technology and/or Central Services Technician Minimum Experience/Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of handling and cleaning of all medical equipment per recommended infection control guidelines. Thorough knowledge of sterile technique as it relates to handling of disposable supplies. Able to mobilize equipment timely to areas needing equipment. Assists with performing stock inventories and restocking of supplies or instrumentation for operating room or CSPD as need arises. Must be extremely organized. Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior. Thorough knowledge of all surgical instruments and supplies utilized within the perioperative arena. Knowledge of sterile technique as it applies to supply distribution and sterile instrument processing. Ability to speak, read, and writes English. Displays behaviors conducive to excellent customer service. Computer literacy preferred. Required: 6 months minimum experience in Central Sterile Processing. (1 year + preferred) Required License/Certification: Surgical Technology or Central Service Technician Certificate preferred at time of hire, required within one year of employment.
