Responsibilities

The Nurse Externship at Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital allows senior-level nursing students to work side-by-side with RNs and other licensed professionals. You will gain valuable clinical experience designed to assist with the transition from student to professional nurse. If you meet the minimum requirements below, please apply today!

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

To be considered for the Fall program you must be enrolled in the last two semesters of an accredited RN program and must have completed the Peri-Op 101 elective course. Hospital orientation will be held in September, dates TBD. Students must be able to complete orientation in full.

You must also submit along with your application (by email):

• 2 letters of recommendation from nursing instructors

• Copy of nursing school competency (skills checklist)

• An unofficial transcript
