Nurse Educator - Oncology

Under the general supervision of the Director of Education and in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Educator: •Collaborates with the Director of Education, Nursing Research and Education Council and other clinical educators to promotes and fosters staff development. •Coordinates and provides for the educational needs of staff throughout the organization. •Provides a variety of functions related to professional goals of individuals. •Participates in maintaining compliance with the Joint Commission (TJC) and Center for Medicare/Medicaid (CMC) standards and conditions of participation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• 2 years as Registered Nurse.

• Providing staff education in an acute care facility.

• Quality management, data collection and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing.
