Stella Maris, located in Timonium Maryland, is looking for a Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) for their growing Home Care Hospice team.

Responsibilities
To develop and coordinate all quality & training initiatives related to hospice home care services. To educate staff to policies and procedures and keep the staff current on new trends and procedures in the industry. Responsible for the development of the educational and orientation program for Homecare Hospice employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Subject matter expert with industry regulatory requirements and incorporates current regulation into educational and orientation programs
Assists with the development and implementation of nursing staff development plans
Conducts and documents new employee orientation and ongoing staff development activities which fulfill mandatory requirements
Assists with ongoing professional development of licensed and certified staff through in-service and continuing education programs to maintain regulatory compliance and promote professional growth and development. Maintains in-service compliance records and reporting.
Utilizes external community instructional resources to supplement education
Develops and maintains tracking system to identify areas of deficiency and ensures regulatory compliance
Develops preceptor program and orients preceptors
Assumes on-call responsibilties as needed and when needed to sufficiently and effeciently run the operation
Requirements
Current RN license in Maryland
Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years prior experience in home health
2+ years prior experience in hospice
Advanced computer skills required.
