The Nurse Coordinator

  • RN carries out direct patient care at the expert level, demonstrates expertise in all aspects of care, makes independent decisions and acts on those decisions with positive patient outcomes. Works in collaboration with the administration and/or Physician Leaders to plan and implement administrative/operational activities while adhering to practice guidelines. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG), divisions, and the Clinical Nursing departments/practices.

This is a Full Time 36.25 hour weekly Monday-Friday with alternate Saturday schedule. Shifts varies weekly between 8:00am-5:00pm, overtime as needed. Schedule may change based on operational needs. May be required to cover for other practices within Queens.

.Preferred Criteria

  • At least 3-5 year of RN experience

  • At least one year of ambulatory experience

  • Experience working in an Pediatrics health care setting.

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing

  • Bilingual

  • Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean

Required Criteria

  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS certification
