Nurse Coordinator - Adolescent & Young Adult

Nemours is seeking a part-time Adolescent and Young Adult Nurse Coordinator to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE.

The Adolescent and Young Adult Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for the development of program goals and objectives as well as programming priorities and evaluation of efforts. They will manage the workflow as well as the policies and procedures of the AYA program.

They will oversee the oncology dataset creation and coordinate services at NCH-DE as part of the collaborative AYA program.

They will also assist in transition to AYA survivorship at the completion of therapy.

The AYA Nurse Coordinator will lead efforts to further expand the collaborative partnership between The Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center.

The nurse coordinator will screen AYA patients for clinical trial eligibility, improve access to appropriate trials. This role requires advanced clinical knowledge and skill to partner with members of the healthcare team across institutions and to provide individualized support and care coordination.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

DE RN License

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in pediatric hematology/oncology nursing, preferred experience in adolescent and young adult oncology

Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) Certification in Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nursing (CPON, CPHON, BMTCN) preferred

Associate of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider preferred
