Job Description:

Waterford Public Schools has a vacancy for a team-oriented individual. Waterford Public Schools is seeking a Nurse at Waterford High School beginning July 1, 2024.

Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. The District's facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The Waterford community strongly supports the public schools and has high expectations for staff and students.

According to the State of Connecticut Next Generation Performance Accountability System, Waterford Public Schools ranks in the top third of K-12 school districts in the state. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1.A valid State of Connecticut RN license to practice professional nursing

2.BSN preferred, but not required

3.Current CPR certification

4.Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics and/or community health.

WORK YEAR: 187 Days (School Year, plus six days).

COMPENSATION: This is a salaried, exempt position. Salary Range: $52, 409- $71,119; Summer may be available at an additional hourly rate.
