Are you a Medical Case Manager with an interest in making a difference in the lives of America's Intelligence Agency employees?
Leidos-QTC Health Service has a need for Case Managers to join on our growing team in supporting the medical services for an Intelligence Community Customer in Virginia. This role will be onsite at the customer medical facility. Remote work is not available in this position.
Applicants must possess or be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI government clearance with polygraph prior to start.
Case Manger Duties and Responsibilities
A-Provide longitudinal Case Management services for injured, ill or recovering clients.
B-Provide clinical assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the options and services required to meet the needs of clients.
C- Accurately collect and record utilization metrics and provide monthly reporting
D- Assess requirements for durable medical equipment, physical therapy, occupational and rehabilitative services for clients
E- Utilize electronic medical records and telemedicine technologies on behalf of clients
F- Be a skilled communicator and able to assist the client in understanding the ECP administrative requirements needed for reimbursements
G- To communicate effectively in written and spoken word with the ECP team and community providers
H- Shall perform ad hoc duties as per the Program Manager discretion.
Competencies:
Ability to establish working relationships and effective communication with professional personnel of various backgrounds
Ability to problem solve complex medical issues
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Previous experience in writing factual, clear, and concise reports, to include situational analysis
Ability to maintain daily scheduled activities and effective time management skills
Excellent organizational and accuracy skills
Previous involvement in coordination of medical services
Ability to conduct thorough medical records review
Ability to assess medical status and formulate recommendations
Decisive and efficient decision-making skills
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
Bachelors degree and Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
Five (5) or more years previous Case Manager experience preferably in military treatment facilities, home health care, and/or mental health facilities
Case Management Certification (CCM) is strongly preferred
Average Pay Rate: $52-55/hr plus quarterly bonus.*
