Details about the Case Manager position we are hiring for:

Qualified applicants will need to be approved by NYS DOH

Help residents achieve and maintain optimum social, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being. Serve as a resource for residents and their families. Oversee all record keeping practices and ensure they are effective and efficient.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed RN or LPN in good standing with State Licensing Authority

  • Previous RN or LPN experience in Assisted Living preferred

  • Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing

  • Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting

  • Able to supervise department employees using independent judgment and discretion

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and State officials and general public

  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

  • Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual

  • Must have strong documentation skills

  • Must have valid driver's license

  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.

  • Possesses good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others and local, state and federal laws.

  • Must meet all health requirements.

  • Must pass criminal background check.

The analyst role should be capable of working with our third-party vendors, both independently and in a team environment as needed, to provide best-in-class customer service for our internal and external customers. The analyst will manage customer payments received and provide related accounting and administrative support. They will employ business communication skills and judgment to resolve payment discrepancies and answer client inquiries. The role requires self-managing of the accurate and timely completion of routine tasks that affect customer account balances, refunds, and financial reporting.</p><p>This position reports to the Collections Manager and will sit in Woodmere, NY.</p><p>What you'll do:</p><ul><li><p>Manage cash application process to ensure accurate customer account balances</p></li><li><p>Manage daily bank and system account reconciliation control processes</p></li><li><p>Ensure key management and SOX controls are followed for the cash application process</p></li><li><p>Manage customer, sales, pricing, billing, coding, invoicing, and other cash application-related escalations</p></li><li><p>Perform account reconciliations</p></li><li><p>Process adjustments on customer accounts</p></li><li><p>Manage customer refund process</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with collections team regarding customer payments</p></li><li><p>Monthly reports as required by the Manager</p></li><li><p>Assist with accounting reporting requirements</p></li><li><p>Acts as a team member with all ENGIE staff</p></li><li><p>Comply with all ENGIE policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Carries out other duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p>What you bring:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree Accounting or Business or 4 years directly relevant experience in lieu of degree.
