Summary Provides direct patient care, treatments, and diagnostic studies, and other support services, dictated by patient needs. Job Duties Supports the culture of safety and identifies and communicates unit issues and/or concerns to RN staff members.

Assumes responsibility and completes routine and complex assignments for a designated group of patients within the allotted time period. Participates in phases of the performance improvement process which include organizational and unit–based patient satisfaction goals. Provides input for performance appraisals of care delivery team members.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support – State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire Preferred Qualifications Successful completion of role orientation and ongoing in–service and continuing education programs. Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
