This position is located within the Division of Inpatient Services' William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute. Address: 220 Faison Drive, Columbia, SC 29203

Supplemental location pay applies to C.M. Tucker Jr Nursing Care Center & Bryan Psychiatric Hospital facilities. Must meet direct-care qualifications.

Under the direct supervision the of the Nurse Manager III the Nurse Manager I/Charge Nurse performs direct patient care utilizing advanced psychiatric treatment interventions. On assigned two (2) units, plans, implements, assigns and evaluates the delivery of patient care; coordinates, implements and evaluates nursing services on designed units WSHPI; functions as a representative of nursing administration on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum and Additional

Requirements:

State Requirement: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience.

Agency Requirement: A bachelor's degree in nursing; or a three (3) year diploma in nursing; or an associate degree in nursing and at least two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in either psychiatric, geriatric, or medical-surgical nursing, as appropriate to the employing facility. Must be licensed by the South Carolina State board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
