Assist Administration and directors in the day-to-day management of operations. Serves as designee in the absence of Chief Nurse Executive and other members of Administration, Directors, and Managers. Directs, evaluates, and supervises activities, programs, projects and personnel which achieve hospital goals in accordance with hospital policy, TJC standards, Title XXII, Federal and California regulations.
Serving the greater Stanislaus County with 423 plus acute care beds, Memorial Medical Center provides a full continuum of care including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, nuclear medicine, dialysis therapy, diagnostic imaging, intensive care, physical therapy, and home health. Specialized care includes Memorial Regional Cancer Center and Memorial Heart Institute.
Current Licensure as an Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California.
Masters Degree with one year clinical experience
Baccalaureate Degree with two years clinical experience
Diploma or Associate Degree with four (4) years clinical experience
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Experience in a position in which managerial and leadership qualities have been demonstrated.
In-depth knowledge of unit specific age criteria for patient population.
Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.
