Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Pet/Ct Technologist - Outpatient Department

Join our dynamic team in Syracuse, NY, as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET/CT Technologist. This role offers a fantastic working environment in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department with no weekend or on-call duties. We provide comprehensive training, so no prior PET experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Hybrid Imaging: Perform all duties related to hybrid imaging in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department.
• Radioactive Isotopes: Calculate, order, administer, and record radioactive isotopes.
• Patient Instructions: Instruct patients on proper exam preparations.
• Order Verification: Verify physician orders for procedures and properly identify patients.
• Quality Control: Perform all required quality control procedures.
• Compliance: Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(N) certification.
• NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License.
• Current CPR certification.
• No PET experience necessary; we will provide training.

Preferred Qualifications

• NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification.

Schedule and Compensation

• Rotating Schedule: 8-hour day shifts between 6 AM and 5 PM.
• No Weekends or Call: Enjoy a work-life balance with no weekend or on-call duties.
• Occasional Overtime: Be prepared for occasional overtime as needed.
• Salary Range: $34.70 - $52.04 per hour (based on skills, experience, and qualifications).
