Responsibilities

Currently offering a $5,000 hiring bonus for this position. Details shared upon job offer.

New grads and experienced technologists are both encouraged to apply.

Prepares and administers radioactive isotopes producing images that physicians use in diagnosing disease. Works directly with patients in a variety of medical settings, such as inpatient and outpatient general and cardiac settings, PET, radiopharmaceutical lab, and therapy center.

Respects the modesty and confidentiality of their patients and deals with hostile and demanding patients in a mature manner. May be required to work on-call shifts including holidays and weekends. Participates in a world-class Nuclear Medicine department to perform a wide variety of innovative imaging procedures!

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program. Must be board certified in nuclear medicine technology and maintain current licensure.

Additional Qualifications

Demonstrate flexibility in response to varying workloads required.

License or Certification

Must be registered as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and maintain current licensure. If position requires rotations to PET, must be registered with the NMTCB as a Positron Emission Tomography technologist or obtain certification within two years of employment, and maintain current licensure. CPR/BLS Certified or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Schedule Details

Must be flexible to work varied hours. Scheduled shifts are currently Mon-Fri.

Some work areas have either 8 or 10 hour shifts available. This position would involve PET Imaging and possibly could include other work area rotations. There are no on call responsibilities for this position.

Weekend Schedule

Currently this position does not include any weekend hours.
