Roles & Responsibilities:

General Summary of Duties Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures, therapeutic procedures, and laboratory duties utilizing radiopharmaceuticals, following departmental policies and procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. The relatively significant population served includes infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedures. Secondary duties include but limited to, clerical duties, receptionist, answering the telephone, scheduling patients, transportation of patients, available for "ON CALL", ordering supplies, stocking the department., maintaining filings, and general cleaning. Assists in the collection of data for COI monitors and conducting QC on all,

Position Requirements:

  • EDUCATION Graduate of an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine.
  • EXPERIENCE Minimum two years working as an Imaging Tech.
  • CERTIFICATE/LICENSE ARRT(N) or CNMT, Mississippi license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current CPR certification. Must Comply with continuing education requirements as required by state and ARRT and/or NMTCB.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.

Roles & Responsibilities: The MRI Tech performs MRI, radiographic and special procedures at level not requiring supervision of technical detail, performing a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. The MRI Tech must be able to assists in specialty areas (i.e. OR, Invasive.) The relatively significant population served includes infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
