Job Description:

Under the direction of the Radiology Director and/or Lead Technologist performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures that involve the administration of various radiopharmaceuticals for the purpose of detecting pathology and the evaluation of systems function/physiology. Safely operates all the equipment within the department and develops and organizes images and data for presentation to the radiologists and/or cardiologists.

This technologist is also responsible for the associated clerical and computer functions, keeping within ALARA standards and maintaining proper procedures and documentation to satisfy all Federal and Florida State regulatory requirements. This technologist must also establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with our internal and external customers, fellow employees other facilities and departments, and our medical staff.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers / NMT

  • ARRT NMT Certification

  • Current FL state licensure (Dept. of Health)

  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support with AHA
