Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description: Essentia Health Fargo is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team.

Position Highlights: Relocation Reimbursement Available $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Competitive Salary and Benefits Package About the role: As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient. Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques.

Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians. Education Qualifications: Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure. Must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.
