Responsibilities
West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature:
150 beds
A 37-bay emergency department
Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.
Endoscopy suites
Cardiac catheterization labs
An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.
Inpatient nursing care units.

Job Description:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of a scintillation camera, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine examinations.
Qualifications
Shift: FULL TIME VARIED
Education:
Graduate of a formal Nuclear Medicine Program that is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT), or Completion of clinical hours allowing the Nuclear Medicine Technologist to be registry eligible, or Registry eligible due to state and/or federal "grandfather" clauses.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of computer technology relating to Nuclear Medicine.
License/Certification:
Active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), in the specialty(ies) as appropriate and current compliance with Continuing Education (CE) requirements for specialty(ies) as appropriate. Active Radiologic Imaging License with the Radiation Control Program. Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
