  • Responsibilities*

  • Expectations: *

  • Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients

  • Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order

  • Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity

  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself

  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures

  • Qualifications*

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensure for State of Arkansas

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or approved school of nuclear medicine technology

  • Registered Radiographic Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Provides education for students, patients, self and others appropriate for the age that is being served. * Pursues educational self-development in order to maintain ARRT certification. * Completes mandatory in-services. * Maintains CPR certification according to Health Care Provider course standards by the American Heart Association. * Attends school faculty meetings or monthly department meetings. * Participates in department Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities. * Qualifications* Minimum Requirements: * Registered allied health professional in radiology, cardiovascular technology * At least (2) year experience as a cardiovascular Technologist in cath lab setting * Passed an advanced Cardiovascular Registry through either ARRT or CCI (RCIS); preferred related skills: nurse, RN, cath lab, STEMI, cardiac cath, patient advocate, collaboration, physician relations, compassion, patient education, caregiver education, problem solving, fast pace environment, assessment, #missioncritical CHI Health Sherwood AR
