Nuclear Med Tech Per Diem

Under the administrative direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned.

Required Effective communication skills /ability to build rapport with others. Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion.

Preferred Previous work experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred, but not required. Will consider graduates of a formal Nuclear Medicine Technology Training program with a temporary license.

Required Satisfactory completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRC/ERT) required.

Required Licensure with Department of Public Health to practice Nuclear Medicine in the state of Massachusetts required. Registration or registration eligible* with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) and or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (CNMBT) required.

Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine within 12 months of hire.
