NUCLEAR MED TECH I

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Tech I provides patient care services utilizing Nuclear medicine equipment to provide diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine services in compliance with regulatory requirements and may direct Radiology Assistants and clerks in the absence of their supervisors.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Current California CNMT license

  • Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certificate

  • Current BLS provider card

Education:

  • Completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine program

Experience:

  • One (1) year office or hospital experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech preferred.

  • New grads welcome to apply.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Basic computer skills

NUCLEAR MED TECH II

Basic Qualifications: Experience * N/A. Education * High school diploma or GED equivalent. License, Certification, Registration * CA Registered Pharmacy Technician. Additional Requirements: * Successful completion of the Kaiser Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Program required. * Working knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, generic and trade name equivalents. * Knowledge of federal and state laws / regulations regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services. * Must be able to either type 30 wpm or 6,000 kph, or type prescription labels. Typing must be current within one (1) year.
