NS Pickleball Instructor (Part-Time/Seasonal)

Description of Work

General Duties: This class is distinguished by the performance of a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks in the overall maintenance and beautification of parks or recreational grounds including the structures therein. Assists full time staff in the maintenance and cleaning of park facilities including buildings, restrooms, pavilions, comfort stations, shelters, bleachers, water fountains, fences, picnic tables and benches, parking facilities and other recreational equipment and structures.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Responsible for planning, instructing, and supervising a specialized class or program. Examples of instruction may include, but are not limited to, sports, outdoor recreation, and fitness.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum requirements include any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and skills, and abilities to perform the job. Must be able to demonstrate positive customer service skills when communicating with participants, parents, and staff.
