Responsible for developing, project managing and coordinating all efforts by the Operations function to successfully introduce multiple major new products to production.

Key Essential Functions:

  • Generate, review and manage internal Operations development plans (test & process)

  • Develop, coordinate and manage transition/ramp plans into contract manufacturing partners. Provide leadership during transfer from NPI gateway facilities to high-volume facilities (international).

  • Lead the Operations-based Product Lifecycle (PLC) commitments for all assigned programs. Ensure deliverables into and out of Operations are in place prior to gate approval.

  • Coordinate with Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to ensure products are optimized for cost, manufacturability, testability and supply chain flexibility and efficiency.

  • Lead the Operations team in planning and executing NPI builds and ensure readiness for volume production

  • Manage all Operations-related NPI communications, upward and downward through the organization; escalate key issues and present options for resolution to the executive team

  • Provide Operational guidance during concept phase of product development

  • Develop financial analysis and Total Cost of Ownership for total business solution

  • Identify opportunities for NPI business process improvements and drive implementation

  • Ensure metric definition/measurement of operational metrics on all assigned projects

  • Provide quality management support and issue resolution for assigned projects

  • Develop processes and procedures related to NPI

  • Manage a successful handoff to sustaining team

Other Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field

  • Ten years of experience in Program Management.

  • Experience with large, technically complex project transitions

  • Strong project management skills managing NPI program schedules with multiple functional input and management; demonstrated capability of handling multiple projects in parallel

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience working with Wafer Foundries, ASIC Development, and Photonic Integrated Circuits

  • Coordination and negotiation skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams as well as Operations functions for effective planning and implementation

  • Ability to interface effectively across organizational and geographic boundaries

  • Strong interpersonal and planning skills; demonstrated ability to work with engineers and all levels of management

  • Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, negotiation, planning, organization and facilitation skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.


  • Weekend support required

  • Travel may be required (5-10% international)

VIEW JOBS 8/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-20T00:00 Position Objective The Digital Program Manager will have key accountability to support the company's Voluntary Product Strategy across the online, mobile, print and social media channels as part of the Group Enrollment & Technology Organization. The Digital Marketing Program Manager will collaborate on our strategic vision, work with internal partners, and manage external vendor relationships to develop, execute, analyze and optimize digital, mobile & print strategies. In this role, you will lead the development and launch our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including journey building, developing campaign assets, post campaign analytical assessment, and recommendations for CX and process improvements. You will concept, develop and execute omni-channel communication campaigns, as well as create customer journeys that meet or exceed target participation performance and financial targets. You are an experienced digital strategist who is passionate about consumer CX, driving positive change, you enjoy team collaboration and being hands on with consumer data. You will be focused on the business development and growth of our digital channels both online and via established partners/distribution channels selling our products. You will build relationships within Enrollment, Marketing/CX, Sales, Product, IT, Service Delivery, and third-party vendors. Forging these relationships enables you to stay on top of enterprise Brand & communication requirements, as well as elevating our customer experience through Guardian digital/ mobile assets, and end-to-end program evaluation. You will collaborate with the Enrollment & Technology Team to track competitive trends and ensure we are meeting/exceeding market expectations. You are highly experienced in the digital/mobile technology space including design and relevant test methodologies. You have a proven track record in analyzing digital content and identifying improvements to increase incremental premium and participation in employee-paid benefit offerings. Strong insurance product/business knowledge in the following is a plus: Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Accident insurance. Who You Are You have proven success in building Relationship Marketing campaigns from the ground up. You are an expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Journey Builder development, as well as Email & Mobile Studios, consulting data and behavioral indicators to optimize the online presence and campaign effectiveness. You merge the art and science of digital, and you have a sophisticated understanding of marketing analytics and measurement metrics. You've successfully defined and developed online digital marketing experiences as well as optimized performance through the effective use of technology, user experience, web analytics, social media. Your attention to detail makes you an excellent project manager and your ability to interact with and engage others fuels your cross-functional collaborative know-how. You keep your finger on the pulse of what's next in digital marketing all in an effort to expand our digital footprint. Major Opportunities and Decisions * User Experience/Technical (75%) o Create multiple digital/mobile journeys, test scenarios, and campaigns to make recommendations to content adjusts with the goal of improved take-rate/participation. o Design and enhance the user experience, providing users with an engaging experience within Group's digital/mobile experience o Analyze and visualize data to provide value add improvement recommendations o Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations. Ensure appropriate brand and digital style is applied consistently throughout the digital/mobile assets. o Maintain quality control and close oversight at all stages of campaign development and launch to ensure final product meets all defined standards including QA'ing content. o Familiar with social media principles and experience with social media integrations for web. o An understanding of web content management such as WordPress CMS. Ability to deal with complex CMS technologies. o Familiar with applying tools to enhance the overall site capability outside of CMS. Reporting Relationships The Digital Marketing Program Manager reports to the Worksite Enrollment Strategy Director who reports to the Vice President, Group and Worksite Products. Skills and Knowledge * Proven success using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for B2C, particularly Journey Builder and mobile/email studio; Interaction Studio experience a plus. * Experience with HTML/HTML5, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, including forms, frames, tables, meta tags and responsive design desirable * Must have experience with developing, and implementing mobile-optimized websites, * Knowledge of Web API and implementation, a plus * Experience with digital asset management. Must have experience with Digital Publishing on Drupal or other Content Management Platforms * Knowledge of social marketing principles and technologies * Must have experience with search engine marketing (SEM) principles and application on web and other content materials. * Proficient in Google Analytics, Adobe, Webtrends, Add This, Wistia, Smartsheet or other PMO systems and marketing automation tools. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Hands on experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite 4 (in particular: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). * Strong team player with advanced project management and organizational skills * Can work independently and takes initiative * Ability to work with agency relationships on integrations and marketing campaign execution * Must be detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and project management skills * Strong problem-solving skills, responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment * Proven experience in executing complex, multi-channel campaigns in large organizations * Experience working with partners to manage complex data exchange/integration Education and Experience Experience * Proven track record of working with CMS and Analytics technologies * 7 years of experience in similar digital marketing/producer roles * 7 years of experience in developing and executing multi-channel relationship marketing campaigns at scale Education * Bachelor's degree.
