Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist II for a 1-3 month FMLA contract. The successful candidate will assist in performing various duties, including blood draws, specimen labeling, and centrifuging. You will also troubleshoot, provide training, and make workflow recommendations. This role requires adherence to established procedures, clear communication with patients about the collection process, and compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.
Hard Skills
Valid Phlebotomy certification (as required in some states)
Experience with blood draws, labeling, centrifuging specimens
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
Soft Skills
Ability to clearly and courteously explain procedures
Attention to detail in matching requisition forms to specimen tubes
Ability to follow specific protocols for specimen integrity
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Week(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
