Audeo Charter School, affiliated with Altus Schools, is an educational model in which students in grades K-12 engage in blended learning instruction while working towards individualized course completion via a Pathways Personalized Education Plan (PPEP). The Altus Schools Learning Associate will assist with the academic program in grades K-5 and/or 6-12 and will support the operations of a community-based resource center. The Learning Associate is competent, energetic, and student-centered with exceptional classroom management and organizational skills.

This position requires a dedicated individual who understands adolescents, positively motivates students, sets high expectations, exemplifies equitable and inclusive practices, employs a data-driven approach, embraces accountability, and is a team player. This is an hourly, part-time, 20 hours per week position.

Audeo Charter School is an educational option for grades K-12 students. Its instructional design is based on a "University Model." Students work independently and attend classes, labs, or tutorials 1-2 times/wk. Students come at scheduled times; no more than 20 students on site at a time.

The learning environment, located in resource centers throughout the city, is professional, clean, safe and well-equipped with curriculum resources, teacher & student laptops, desktop computers, wireless networks, and high-speed T-1 Internet access in each resource center. SELECTION PROCEDURE: Selected applicants will be interviewed by a panel of School Administrators and will complete work-styles/behavior survey and math quiz.
