Novice Nurse LPN

Maxim Healthcare Services of Ontario is seeking "Novice Nurse" Candidates or Licensed Practical Nurses working with less than 12 Months of experience.

Maxim Healthcare's Novice Nurse Training Program is designed to provide a unique training opportunity for new-grad LPNs & those with less than 12 months of experience. You will be partnered with experienced Maxim nurses who will provide real-time feedback, training & mentorship.

Within this program, you will gain hands-on experience by working 1:1 with patients in a home setting. You will have the opportunity to learn specialized interventions of direct patient care, G-tube/Tracheostomy & Ventilator Management, Care Coordination & the adaptation of your Critical thinking skills with the 24/7 support of your Clinical Supervision Team.

We are currently seeking candidates for Full & Part-time opportunities within Richland, Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Wayne, Knox, Morrow, Marion, Wyandot & Seneca Counties

For efficient Supervision, Evaluation & Training purposes, this position will have a weekly duration requirement of 20 Hours or more - Please contact our office directly with any questions!

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

• Other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN License in the state in which the LPN or RN practices.

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

• Current BLS card.
