The ideal candidate is a professional technician who lives in the NOVA area and has at least 3 years of installation or service experience in a similar field, possesses many of the skills noted below, and can work outdoors 365 days per year. Candidates with limited experience who are interested in learning our trade may also apply for an Assistant Technician position.
Role and Responsibilities
Service on all makes and models of gate operators, telephone entry systems, card readers, and other related equipment. Ability to program telephone entry systems, keypads, and card readers. Work with low voltage, 110-volt, and 220-volt circuits, wiring, and electrical panels. Communicate easily and confidently with customers and Service Manager. Self Starter who can see what needs to be done and do it. Other duties are assigned when necessary. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word. You must have a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug tests and medical examinations, and security background checks.

Requirements:

• US Citizen
• Must be able to pass a DCJS Criminal Background Check.
• Positive points on Driving record
• Must have Low Voltage experience.
• Must have Hand Tools experience.
• Must be able to operate a smart phone/tablet/laptop.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Great work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Salary:
$35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday (4-10 hour shifts)

On-call (Rotation Based) 5 weeks out currently 

Overtime is always an option if you wish to work extra 

Experience desired: 

• Electrical: at least 1 year
• Mechanical knowledge: at least 1 year
• Hydraulic Experience: at least 1 year
