TITLE: Northeast Tennessee Psychology Internship Consortium
SUMMARY:
Northeast Tennessee Psychology Internship Consortium is offering two doctoral intern positions for the 2024/2025 internship year starting August 1, 2024. Northeast Tennessee Psychology Internship Consortium has two training sites, one through the Bristol Tennessee City Schools (BTCS) and the other through Frontier Health's Holston Children and Youth Services (FH) in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Interns will split their time between both sites. While at BTCS trainees will learn the responsibilities of a school psychologist, behavior assessment and intervention services, school mental health services, comprehensive evaluations, and school-based programs under the supervision of a Licensed School Psychologist within the school system and at FH, under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, trainees will be provided training in clinic-based mental health services as well as assessment opportunities through FH Assessment and Forensic Services. Interns will receive a $30,000 stipend.
The Northeast Tennessee Psychology Internship Consortium is located in the northeast tip of Tennessee near the Blue Ridge Mountains. The low cost of living, reasonable housing expenses, and the availability of outdoor recreation make the local area a very appealing place to live and explore. Northeast Tennessee Psychology Internship Consortium is not accredited by APA at this time, but the program is submitting required information to start the accreditation process.
