ON Semiconductor, a top global technology manufacturer, is looking for a Senior (Sr.) Facilities Manager who will help lead, guide, and direct the Facilities teams at our North America Region Frontend Manufacturing sites. The Sr. Facilities Manager will participate in providing high level management support for multiple sites. This position also includes exciting opportunities for worldwide travel.This position is responsible to help lead and advise the facilities functions for ON Semiconductor's North America Frontend Manufacturing sites. This includes the maintenance of existing buildings, equipment, and grounds; planning, budgeting, scheduling of facilities modifications, regulatory compliance and interfacing with top level manufacturing leadership. This position will interface with other diverse functions, such as, supply management, security, safety, environmental, and business continuity teams, etc.The position receives assignments in the form of objectives and key performance indicators for the organization. The successful candidate will establish goals to meet the company's strategic agenda. The Sr. Facilities Manager help leads the North America Frontend Manufacturing Facility Managers to achieve these goals in accordance with established policies, including, where appropriate, motivation and counseling in leadership principles, productivity, group dynamics and basic human relations. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect organizations. Frequently interacts with North America Frontend Manufacturing Facilities Managers and their subordinates. Will also have strong interactions with the rest of the Global Facilities Management team. Will interact with senior leadership across the entire corporation with interactions normally involving matters between manufacturing, environmental, health, safety, and facilities.This position has approximate 20-25% travel obligations to the various sites in North America region and on occasional travel to other global regions.

* Knowledge of excellent business practices, departmental budget control, strategic planning / strategies, site sustainability, conflict resolution, change agent and initiator. * Directs and motivates the North America Frontend Manufacturing Facilities Managers and their teams in the accomplishments of departments' performance goals and the company's strategic agenda.* A working knowledge of Facilities engineering, operation and maintenance, preventative and predictive maintenance, construction practices, Environmental Sustainability Programs, Environmental Health and Safety, Regulatory compliance, and building codes are essential. * Knowledgeable understanding of various Facilities disciplines such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Controls, Life Safety Systems, and Waste Water Services. * This position requires excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) including fluency in English. * Demonstrated abilities in departmental budget processes, staff development, and administrative practices. * Desire to lead a collaborative, innovative, and diverse teams. * Requires the ability to disseminate complex and technical information, and make sound economical judgments of various alternatives. Also requires the ability to assume responsibility to make rapid and correct decisions especially during system failures and/or emergenciesIt also requires the ability to develop work alternatives and imaginative approaches to accomplish objectives, developing work methods, and controlling cost.*
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 10 to 15 years of progressively challenging facilities related experience. * Experience as a Facility Manager running a semiconductor manufacturing site is desired or other related high technology field. * Previous experience in one or more of the following positions: facilities engineering, consulting engineering, and construction/installation.ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ON) is driving energy efficient innovations, empowering customers to reduce global energy use.
