Position Summary

The North American Business Leader, Asset Management & Reliability (AM&R) will be responsible for the growth and performance of the AM&R business that's bought/re-sold through Distributors in North America. This includes owning a strategy, driving execution and development/management of key projects and programs that directly impact the growth and performance of the AM&R business.

  • Development of a strategy to accelerate growth for the AM&R portfolio through Channels in North America

  • Responsible for managing the AM&R specialist team that supports the NA Distributors regionally.

  • Responsible for profitable revenue growth of the Channel-centric AM&R offerings including Remanufacturing, Non-Rockwell Automation Repair, Parts Management Agreements (PMA), Remanufacturing/Warranty Contracts and related Integrated Support Contracts.

  • Responsible for leading and managing a commercial team including the hiring and development of commercial resources.

  • The individual will assume market development functions with respect to the Channel-centric AM&R business in order to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive market place.

  • Responsibilities include market research of competitive offerings and business margin analysis for new and existing accounts.

  • The individual serves as the primary point of escalation for commercial issues from customers, channel and sales organizations for the Transactional offerings including Remanufacturing and Non-Rockwell Automation Repair.

  • Responsible for evolving and implementing our eCommerce strategy for the Transactional offerings including Remanufacturing and Non-Rockwell Automation Repair.

  • Responsible for driving specific commercial and operational details of growth plans. Project focus will include leading Ease of Doing Business (EODB) initiatives and revenue generating opportunities.

  • Provide dedicated field support for the presentation, quotation, execution and deliverable of various product lines and services. Provide appropriate channel/partner training to sell and operationalize the business.

  • Assist in management and tracking of the sales and profit performance of the Transactional business through report generation and data analysis. Provide appropriate field and channel feedback and facilitate action at regional levels in partnership with field leadership. Evaluate and make changes as appropriate.

  • Partner with Rockwell Automation sales teams and product groups to develop joint services that will complement our products, provide long-term lifecycle support to our customers and provide a profitable revenue stream to the business.

  • Partner with Channel Services and Commercial Marketing to develop market segmentation models, effective marketing communications, publicity, advertising, and promotional literature/sales tools.

  • This position will primarily interface with Rockwell Automation customers, field sales & services teams, Authorized Distributors, commercial marketing, customer service, channel management, product and product quality groups, and CSM portfolio team.

  • Additional responsibilities encompass day to day support of business systems and the timely resolution of commercial issues from the channel and sales organizations.

  • Candidates will express willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing or similar

  • Proven track record of success in selling through channel partners

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of consultative sales experience, services, channels management experience

  • Proven leadership skills to motivate and influence direct and indirect reports to embrace new concepts and deliver new results

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups

  • Understanding of typical productivity software, business systems and integrations, i.e. MS Access/Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, SAP, SharePoint, pivot tables, V-Lookups and queries, EDI transactions, PIM data

  • Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external partner relationships while achieving target outcomes

  • Builds strong relationships and partnerships across the company to leverage ideas, capabilities and processes

  • Comprehending the needs and requirements of customers or business partners in order to bring strategic value to them

  • Promoting customer needs as the key driver for business goals and initiatives

  • Self-motivated and self-managed towards objectives
