North America Sales Operations and Strategy Manager, Talent Solutions
The Manager of Sales Operations and Strategy for Talent Solutions, is a key business advisor who functions as a "chief of operations" to our North America sales executives. The manager will also be responsible for designing and setting sales policy, sales incentives and planning new market/territory development. The manager plays a key role in deriving insights from LinkedIn's customer and sales data. They will be responsible for helping executives and sales management make data-driven decisions by providing timely reports and analyses such as average selling price, order volume growth, and product whitespace analysis.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations leaders and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a self-starter who can recognize where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them.
Using strong communication skills, the manager will effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of moderate to high complexity and scope, and have the ability to perform professionally in a challenging and extremely fast-paced environment. The manager will also be responsible for building and developing a top-caliber operations team.
Lead all operations for the fast-growing North America sales team
Liaise with Marketing, Revenue/Accounting, Product, Training, and Sales Finance to conceive, design and implement process optimization resulting in sales cycle improvement of 25%
Work with marketing and sales leadership to customize product positioning, pricing, and packaging for developing markets
Manage a team of analytical resources
Conceive of and design automated reporting through salesforce.com that drives a regular stream of key data to decision-makers
Deliver strategic and operations projects globally as required to evolve and transform LinkedIn's sales model
Optimize inbound and outbound sales prospecting efficiency
Design, build and optimize sales territories
Work with fascinating data and be at the front of thought leadership for the company's monetization strategy
Experience using and developing reports, metrics and dashboards with salesforce.com
Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior management
Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments.
Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
