Are you a talented Recruiting professional with a strong track record of sourcing and attracting top talent? Do you have experience in a corporate recruiting role, where you've not only hired great people, but also facilitated recruiting process improvement initiatives? The "Fortive Pending Acquisition of Advanced Sterilization Products (Fortive/ASP)" is searching for a strong recruiter to join the new Talent Acquisition team. This individual will play a critical role in helping build out several key positions to stand-up Fortive/ASP, build new process, capability, and overall team strategy. You'll help drive and influence the talent pipeline across the organization. Your impact will be to:

  • Create and implement a sourcing strategy for the business to meet current staffing needs and build a pipeline for future roles ensuring quality, cost effectiveness, and speed.

  • Execute the recruiting process end to end while effectively utilizing the process, systems, and tools (full life cycle recruiting).

  • Conduct in-depth intake meetings with leaders to ensure alignment on position, impact, and expectations while providing market insights and education.

  • Identify the best online sourcing channels for different candidate segments.

  • Leverage technology to locate, engage, and attract prospective candidates.

  • Identify the top-performing employees at talent competitors and use the right messages to reach high-quality candidates.

  • Proactively cold call passive candidates and create a compelling story.

  • Ensure a positive experience for all candidates under active consideration for assigned requisitions by providing timely, accurate, relevant feedback to internal & external candidates.

  • Organize targeted outreach events in the industry and on-site in our office.

  • Assess applicant/candidate quality, skills, and fit to identify the best candidate for a position.

  • Maintain effective relationships with candidates through the recruiting process.

  • Negotiate with candidates against counter-offers.

Our Needs

Here's what we'll need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is highly preferred.

  • 5 or more years of recruitment experience, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the needed skills.

  • 3 or more years of experience in full cycle recruiting.

  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence.

  • Ability to influence hiring managers' talent decisions by providing value-adding recruiting-related advice.

  • Ability to comprehensively understand the business strategy and connect it to a talent strategy.

  • Capacity to anticipate future talent needs of the organization and build a steady stream of prospective talent.

  • Deep knowledge of the labor market(s) and talent pools.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and consensus building skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload based on business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a highly matrixed organization.

Because of our specialized engineering positions, prior recruiting experience in the Aerospace Industry is strongly desired. </p> <p>The Technical Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting efforts to include but not limited to job description creation, posting positions on applicable job boards, passive and active sourcing of talent, resume vetting, phone screening, onsite interview coordination, and offer negotiation.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Manage job posting via Workable and other channels, ensuring open positions are visible to our target audience.</li> <li>Develop creative ways to find top candidates, seeking out both active and passive candidates. </li> <li>Review and screen resumes for open positions, sending top matches to hiring managers for feedback. </li> <li>Perform initial phone screens with approved candidates, providing screen feedback to hiring manager and making recommendations for advancement.</li> <li>Coordinate onsite technical interviews, scheduling internal parties and ensuring the interview flow goes smoothly. </li> <li>Collect post interview feedback from both hiring managers and candidates, solidifying employment offer details when applicable. </li> <li>Negotiate offer terms with candidates to ensure high probability of accepted offers. </li> <li>Initiate background check requests and confirm hire dates post screening clearance. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>5 years’ experience with high-volume recruiting for a small to medium-size company undergoing rapid growth.</li> <li>Previous background sourcing talent in a technical field. Aerospace industry experience is strongly desired.</li> <li>Experience managing full cycle recruiting process via an Applicant Tracking System.
