The North America DTC Window Coordinator is accountable for driving brand strategy and traffic through the execution of compelling window displays and storytelling in Outlet, Brand, and Employee Store channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain an annual window changeout calendar that is aligned to the Global Brand Marketing calendar, and approved by DTC Channel Managers

  • Create and maintain a searchable database of window profiles across Brand, Outlet and ES channels to include: number, dimensions, architectural details/drawings, photographs, fixtures, hardware, lighting, mullions, interiors and track type

  • Working with internal and/or external agencies, and with alignment to the DTC seasonal strategies, develop and execute compelling and creative window executions for each of the agreed-upon initiatives.

  • Partner with implementation and store operations to ensure budget is maximized and go-backs are minimal

  • Create, in collaboration with implementation, detailed installation directions by window format for each execution

  • Provide troubleshooting and response for window installations in real time

  • Create and set prototypes of key executions in the GBE lab, Woodburn Outlet and/or PDX Flagship for review and approval

  • Conduct post mortems on executions to identify future opportunities

  • Provide set and take down dates as part of campaign measurement to determine window effectiveness

  • Drive ongoing upgrades to window infrastructure through collaborative strategy and planning with DTC leadership.

  • Ensure new store window sets are included in the new store opening directive and that landlord-specific requirements are addressed, documented and archived in the profiles.

Requirements:

  • BA with interior design or visual merchandising concentration

  • 5+ years production in store development, visual merchandising, production or agency work

  • Experience managing and/or directing multi-format widow programs

  • Advanced understanding of implementing multi-material 3D and 2D display programs within a retail environment.

  • Solid understanding of architectural plans, elevations, site surveys and reflected ceiling plans

  • Strong organizational skills and visual presentation skills

  • Obsessive attention to detail and schedule

  • Understanding of ADA requirements

  • Ability to work effectively under deadline and with ongoing change

  • Ability to travel 20-25% of the time for installations and site surveys

Purpose Act as the head of category management for the market business unit in the definition of local short- and medium-term objectives for the respective Category. Implement Global Concepts-to-Consumer strategies in a locally relevant way, considering different consumer needs and distribution channels. Drive cross-functional Marketing execution ensuring one category voice reaches the consumer today, tomorrow and in the future. Key Accountabilities * Directly contribute to the global strategic planning by providing US market Business Unit input. * Develop a complete 3-5 year plan for the BU based on the adidas Strategic Business Plan, the respective Global BU's and market strategic plan. * Provide leadership within the BU, effectively managing cross-functional working relationships with other marketing teams on vision, strategic objectives/ actions and financial targets as defined by Global. * Approve SMU briefs from Concepts-to-Consumer into the Global BU. * Consolidate inputs from the Market sub-units related to commercial trends and incremental business opportunities, and the effectiveness of CTC concepts and Brand Activation plans, and provide it to the Global BU. Develop Market-specific initiatives (e.g. event activation), where required and approved by the Global BU. * Ensure BU global range is executed with excellence and optimized in the Market, including its sub-units. * Continually analyse sell-in, sell-out ROI of communication investments, to ensure they meet the financial expectations set out in the short- and mid-term goals across all channels, and sub-units within the Market. * Develop an annual marketing plan for the BU across the entire Market. * Manage the BU P&L and all Marketing related inputs (e.g. pricing, FOB, MWB). * Deliver a compelling range/concept selection for the Market (including Category assortment packages across channels, as well as Key Accounts) within the CTC framework, balancing both Brand and commercial considerations and supporting the overall business strategy. * Support and steer the Brand Activation team in relation to the Category-specific activation. * Create a Sports Marketing / EIM invest/divest plan and ensure asset inventory is effectively utilized. * Provide Omni-channel BU forecast as part of IBP process. * Provide a clear vision and direction with relevant objectives and KPIs. * Establish a high performance culture and drive employee engagement, leading by example. * Provide a suitable performance framework for direct reports by setting SMART performance targets and coaching for continuous improvement. * Identify and develop high-potential talents, to fuel the team's succession plan. * Look for opportunities to provide cross-functional experiences to identified high-potential talents from both, in and outside of the team.
